Project: In the Stillness of Waiting

Renzo Cicillini works with analogue film to capture quiet, visual moments.
The result is an art project exploring the state of waiting:

We often wait for something or someone. But when we embrace that in-between time, it can be full of beauty. The series captures this sense of anticipation through cinematic, narrative scenes in which the model becomes a central presence.
The first images have already been created, and the project was awarded Gold at the prestigious Tokyo Foto Awards:

Upcoming shoot

The next part of the series will take place in a maritime setting.
A model will be photographed at various lakeside locations around Lake Geneva.
The shoot will be cinematic, atmospheric and—positively—slightly adventurous.

Details:

• Duration: 5–8 hours (including travel between locations)

• Location: Lake Geneva shoreline

• Team: only the photographer will be present

• Wardrobe: provided by the photographer; changing in public facilities

• Make-up: natural, prepared by the model

Conditions:

• Paid assignment: CHF 100.– per hour

• Travel expenses: by agreement

• Insurance and tax/social contributions: model’s own responsibility

• Usage rights: all rights remain with the photographer

Projekt: In the Stillness of Waiting

Renzo Cicillini fotografiert analog mit Film stille, visuelle Momente. Daraus ist ein künstlerisches Projekt entstanden, das den Zustand des Wartens einfängt:

Wir warten oft auf etwas oder jemanden. Doch gerade diese Zwischenzeit kann voller Schönheit sein – wenn wir sie bewusst erleben. Die Serie zelebriert diese stille Vorfreude in filmisch erzählten Szenen, in denen das Model zur Akteurin wird. Erste Bilder sind bereits entstanden. Das Projekt wurde mit einer Goldmedaille beim renommierten Tokyo Foto Award ausgezeichnet:

Geplante Fortsetzung

Die nächste Bildserie führt das Thema in ein maritimes Umfeld weiter.
An einem Tag wird das Model an verschiedenen Uferorten am Genfersee fotografiert – das Setting ist im besten Sinne atmosphärisch, cineastisch und leicht abenteuerlich.

Ablauf:

• Dauer: 5–8 Stunden (inkl. Fahrt zu den Locations)

• Ort: Ufer des Genfersees

• Begleitung: nur durch den Fotografen

• Outfits: werden gestellt; Umziehen erfolgt in öffentlichen Garderoben

• Make-up: neutral, wird vom Model selbst vorbereitet

Leistungen und Rahmenbedingungen:

• Auftragsverhältnis / Gage: CHF 100.– pro Stunde

• Anfahrt: nach Absprache geregelt

• Versicherung und korrekte Versteuerung / Sozialleistungen: liegen in der Verantwortung des Models

• Nutzungsrechte: Alle Bildrechte liegen beim Fotografen
